Did you know our great city of Plantation is 70 years young?! Americans love celebrating and I was happy to attend the 70th birthday party with other elected officials and city employees. I was also happy to see many friends there. Mayor Nick Sortal did a great job hosting city and county officials and praising the tireless work of its civic leaders. He also celebrated the city’s 42 parks and numerous thriving residential and business communities and outlined the city’s planned infrastructure improvements to make the next 70 years as great as the first 70! I’m always happy to visit Plantation and you’ll often see me eating at Sicilian Oven and shopping at the many great stores throughout the city.
