Meet Chris

I’m a lifelong servant leader and not your traditional politician. I just couldn’t yell at the TV any longer! Have you ever looked at some of our political leaders on TV and asked yourself, “Is this the best we can do as a nation?” Me, too. So, our family is putting ourselves out there to try to improve our great nation.

Growing up, all 5 of the Eddy kids were taught to quit complaining and work to fix things. I’ve been lucky enough to do that in my previous careers. We were taught to leave things better than we found them. I know many people focus on my resume and what I’ve done in the past, but I’ve always preferred to look into the future.

I’ve always been considered the underdog….starting from my high school basketball team, through college, and even the military. That just forced me to work harder than everyone else. Some of my most cherished recognitions stem from that underdog status:

  • High School and College Academic Halls of Fame
  • 1 of 5 top graduates at Ashland University, Class of ’86
  • USAF Intelligence School Honor Graduate
  • FIU Masters of Arts Governmental Affairs Best Course Award
  • #1 of 56 FBI Intelligence Programs

Of course, you get these awards through a team effort but, more importantly, by taking care of your staff and being a servant leader.

  • 30+ years as an Air Force officer, retiring as a Brigadier General in 2017
    • Multiple Officer of the Year Awards
    • Top Air Force Reserve Intelligence Officer to 3-Star General at the Pentagon
  • 13 years as an FBI Intelligence Manager and 17 years of previous federal civil service, retiring in 2019
    • Intelligence Civilian of the Year at US Southern Command
    • Built the FBI’s #1 Rated Intelligence Program out of fifty-six
  • Proven leader…supervised and led 2 to 160 people
  • Education-Focused
    • PhD in Leadership
    • MBA
    • Masters in International Relations
    • Award winning teacher with Florida International University (and others)
  • Family focused and involved in the community
    • Served in the St. Bonaventure Church Detention Ministry
