I was able to meet with business leaders throughout the county who expressed their concern with the national economy potentially dragging down the Broward economy. I was able to present the national security threat posed by China to the Hollywood Committee of 100.
Special thanks to the Dania Beach Lions Club for their Armed Forces Appreciation Dinner and to Mission BBQ in Davie for hosting veterans and the Town of Davie Police Department at their touching ceremony. That same night, I was able to attend Victory Ahead’s charity BBQ event in Davie with Chef Josh Wahler (3 BBQs in one day!)
We had a couple business grand openings (check out our Facebook or Instagram pages for these) and Chamber of Commerce events. Anne and I also had the pleasure of sponsoring a scholarship for the American Association of University Women and we had a great ceremony to meet our recipient.
On top of that, we had family events with our son’s basketball games, our daughter’s field trips, and both of their side hustles (as my dad used to say, if you don’t work, you don’t eat!).
I won’t give away our schedule for the next week but we will be all over District 25 explaining our rationale for Civility, Fiscal Discipline, and Security.
